Judith Funkhouser

Judy was the founding President of the Chinese Painting Guild.  She tirelessly led the Guild from its start in 2000 until her move to Virginia in 2014 to be closer to her family.  The Guild would not have thrived in the absence of her thoughtful leadership.  Judy is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, and a devoted Chinese Painting student of Ma Qingxiong for almost two decades.  She continues to create wonderful art in her spacious new studio in Midlothian, Virginia.
